## Return and Refund Policy
**Physical books.** We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, the book must be in its original, unread condition — no writing, creasing, or damage to the cover or spine. To start a return, email embermantel@gmail.com with your order number. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer unless the book arrived damaged or we sent the wrong item, in which case we cover it.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval and issue a refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
**Damaged or defective items.** If your book arrives damaged, misprinted, or missing pages, email us within 14 days of delivery with a photo. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost to you.
**Ebooks and digital downloads.** Because digital products are delivered immediately and cannot be returned, **all ebook sales are final.** By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you are receiving immediate access to a digital file and waive any right to a refund. If you have technical trouble downloading or opening your file, contact us at embermantel@gmail.com and we will make it right.
**Signed or personalized copies.** Personalized and signed copies are made to order and are not eligible for return unless damaged or defective.

## Shipping Policy
Orders are processed within [2–5] business days. Signed or personalized copies may take up to [7–10] business days.
We ship within the United States via [USPS Media Mail / USPS Priority Mail]. Estimated delivery is [3–10] business days after shipment, depending on the service selected at checkout. Media Mail is economical but can be slow; delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
We do not currently ship outside the United States. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees assessed by their country.
Once a package leaves our hands, we are not responsible for carrier delays, misdelivery, or theft after delivery is confirmed. If your tracking shows delivered but the package is missing, contact us and we will help you file a claim.
Ebooks are delivered by download link immediately after purchase and involve no shipping charge.

## Privacy Policy
Ember Mantel us respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and why.
**What we collect.** When you make a purchase, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number (if provided), and payment information. We also automatically collect limited technical information about your visit, such as your browser, IP address, and the pages you view, through cookies and similar technologies.
**How we use it.** We use your information to process and ship your order, communicate with you about your purchase, respond to your questions, prevent fraud, and comply with our legal and tax obligations. If you opt in to our mailing list, we use your email to send updates about new books and releases. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
**Who we share it with.** We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the store: Shopify (our e-commerce platform), our payment processor, our shipping carrier, and our email marketing provider, each only to the extent needed to perform their service. We may also disclose information where required by law.
**Payment information.** Payment card details are processed directly by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
**How long we keep it.** We retain order records as long as necessary to fulfill orders and meet our tax and recordkeeping obligations under Ohio and federal law, typically seven years.
**Your rights.** Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing communications. **Eligibility.** You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to make a purchase.
**Orders.** All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock shortages. If we cancel your order after payment, you will receive a full refund.
**Pricing and tax.** Prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Applicable Ohio sales tax is calculated and added at checkout.
**Intellectual property.** The books, cover art, site content, and Ember Mantel name are the property of L.M. Rockers and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
